"Call Me By Your Name" by André Aciman was one of the most captivating books I read this year. I decided to borrow the title, hope you don’t mind, André. Being in love with someone despite all of society's rules, sharing this secret only with the beloved, and losing it all carries a huge emotional charge I couldn’t resist—especially reading about discovering, for the first time in your life, genuine and unconditional total intimacy, something you may never truly find again.
Once the romance and passion are over, it’s difficult to tell if the most powerful and enthralling moments of your life were real or just a dream. My intention was to embark on the same emotional voyage.
For this project, I experimented with long exposure, double exposure, and mirror reflections.
