The Phantom Vaudeville
Step into a world where reality blurs with illusion, where the echoes of a forgotten stage linger in the air, and where performers exist in a realm suspended between time and dream. The Phantom Vaudeville is a surreal photographic series that conjures the eerie spectacle of a bygone era—an underground theatre of the absurd, a ghostly cabaret where the strange and marvellous unfold beneath dimmed footlights.
Inspired in part by the unsettling works of Hans Bellmer and the life-sized female dolls he produced in the mid-1930s, this series explores themes of distortion, fragmentation, and the uncanny.
